Abortions, cont., page 3

You would think that if pro-choicers were so concerned about women dying from botched abortions, that they would be in the forefront to abolish abortions on demand.

These deaths no more concern them than the killing of over 45 million unborn children since Roe v. Wade, or the excruciating pain that many suffer when they are torn apart.

As you read my articles, you will see the shredding of the pro-choice arguments before your very eyes. They care NOTHING about women's health. Click: "Safe Abortions are Science Fiction"

As for women's reproductive freedom, whoever claimed that women shouldn't have reproductive freedom? I agree: they can reproduce any time they want to. However, to kill what you reproduce IS carrying freedom a bit too far.

This is where the line has to be drawn, if we are to become a civilized society again. Human life is NOT expendable. There's NOT a scientist, in the entire world, who could deny that human life begins at conception.

Then you have those who can't think further than their gender. Since Roe v. Wade, women now do not have to answer to any man. Not their husbands or the father of their child.

"I am woman, hear me roar. It’s my body and I can do what I want to, and I now have the power over life and death and no man can tell me what to do."
Why should there even be a debate over this issue?

Pro-choicers have nothing on their side: not the word of GOD, not love, not compassion, not science, and not common decency. The only thing on their side is death, not only to the unborn babies, but the death of women who die from complications of abortions.

Then there are the physical and mental complications that ensue after a woman has her unborn child killed.

Since abortions were legalized in 1973, there has been a sharp rise in premature babies in subsequent deliveries, leading to low birth weights and thus the baby is more prone to develop physical and mental problems, including Cerebral Palsy.

Guilt feelings and other emotional problems have produced a meteoric rise in child abuse since Roe v. Wade.

There is a 50% increased risk of breast cancer for women who have had induced abortions. This increases to 200% if she is young and it's her first pregnancy. It rises to 270% if there is a family history of breast cancer. Click: "Abortion-Breast Cancer" for details.

Are pro-choicers completely devoid of compassion and love?

Remember love? It's love that enables us to "lay down our lives for our children." In abortions, it's just the opposite. "My child, you must lay down your life, so that I can live as I want to." This selfish reason goes against everything that's in the Bible and if you're not a person of faith, then it goes against everything that's just plain common decency.

"Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me."

We were all created by God in his own image at conception -- when the sperm fertilizes the ovum (egg) -- not at birth.
To kill a developing child in the womb, is the same as killing a child after he/she is born. Both are human beings, made by God in His image. It's not just a small sin; it's a mortal sin. Now, this should not be hard for any person to understand.

"For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb."
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart."

How those, who say they believe in God, can ignore the above scriptures is beyond me. As you can see, it is very plain that God created us at conception -- not at birth.

When the sperm fertilizes the ovum (egg), the result is the zygote, which has his or her own genetic code (DNA) and destiny. The rest is time. This beginning of human life is a scientific fact, and not based on religious views.
However, Judeo-Christian teaching on abortion acknowledges this scientific fact.

To pick out a certain developmental stage to justify the killing of unborn children is a travesty of justice. It is scientifically unsound and without any semblance of logic, since the development of a human being is a continuum: zygote, embryo, fetus, infant, child, adolescent and adult.

To interrupt this continuum of life, at any stage, violates God's will, as He told us: "Thou shalt not kill." For those, who do not believe in God, it violates one's view of common decency.

Unborn children should not be discriminated against and targeted for death just because they're growing and developing inside their mother's womb, any more than they should be targeted for death after birth, since they are continuing to grow and develop.

The location of the development is inconsequential, and should not be held against the unborn and used as an excuse to kill them. Both unborn and born babies cannot survive on their own.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to grasp these facts. Yet there are people who will ignore scientific facts and God's laws, just so they won't be inconvenienced.

How sad, this disrespect for human life, the greatest of all of God's creations.
It's inconceivable to think that pro-choicers can't understand these simple facts, explaining the beginning of human life. Or is it that they just refuse to believe it?

The only other explanation would be that they are just plain selfish. Their self-indulgence is paramount; human life is secondary. Pick one. There is NO other reason.

It has been acknowledged by many sources, that unborn babies DO feel pain. Researchers at University College London have now discovered that the newborn and premature babies, which would include unborn babies killed in the third trimester, feel pain longer and more sensitively than older children and adults. In premature babies and unborn babies, the mechanism that allows older children and adults to "dampen down" the pain messages does not work properly.

In other words, the unborn child's immune system to pain has not been developed, while their pain receptors have; thus they feel pain at the slightest trauma, let alone being torn apart, in which case the pain would be excruciating.

Reliable studies confirm that unborn children do feel pain as early as 20 weeks, (thus we are now in the second trimester).
Other studies have indicated that the unborn may feel pain as early as 9 weeks, since it is clear that they respond to touch from five and a half weeks after conception.

Then you have the barbaric partial-birth abortion. These viable babies are killed in late term, with many of them feeling excruciating pain.

Thank God, Bush is now our president, because he signed the bill to ban the late term and excruciating painful partial-birth abortion which was passed by the Senate and the House, thanks mainly to Republicans.

John Kerry, true to the Democratic party plarform, had he been elected president, would have vetoed it. As senator, he voted SIX time NOT to ban this barbaric procedure.
